Whytecliff Park, Vancouver featured in Dead Boy Detectives
Netflix is excited to announce the addition of three new, Canadian-filmed series to the Netflix in Your Neighbourhood / Netflix Chez Vous websites! The update, includes the fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy, filmed in Ontario and starring Nova Scotia-native Elliot Page; Dead Boy Detectives, filmed in Vancouver, B.C. and the surrounding area; and nature documentary series Our Living World, showcasing breathtaking landscapes in Alberta and Manitoba.
Launched in 2021, Netflix in Your Neighbourhood and Netflix Chez Vous were created to help fans discover the many Canadian filming locations for their favourite Netflix movies and shows. Today, the website is home to a collection of over 40 titles highlighting the diverse Northern landscapes and lively communities in which they were filmed. A one-stop-shop for planning the ultimate fan trip, Netflix in Your Neighbourhood also recommends must-visit tourist destinations and local businesses including culinary gems, charming accommodations, cultural institutions, photo-worthy landmarks and more.

The Umbrella Academy Season 4 was filmed in Toronto, Burlington and Georgetown, Ontario.
DEAD BOY DETECTIVES – Filmed across British Columbia, this series follows the lives of teenage ghost best friends Edwin and Charles, who run the Dead Boy Detectives agency where they solve paranormal mysteries. Filming for this show happened in Vancouver, Surrey, Langley, Richmond and Shirley, British Columbia
OUR LIVING WORLD – This docuseries showcases extraordinary creatures and ecosystems living in the diverse landscapes of Alberta & Manitoba. Our Living World was filmed in Alberta’s District of Greenview and Kananaskis Country as well as Churchill, Manitoba.
